Carmireli

So something has been bugging me for a long time now, but before I talk about that let me start by saying this.......three years ago I joined MySpace, and a couple months after I joined I received a friend request from a girl named Carmireli.  I went on her profile and saw that she was a singer and I instantly became a fan of her music.  Carmireli's music is AWESOME!!  Not only are her songs great because they're fun to listen to, but she has an amazing/beautiful singing voice!!

Carmireli is one of the nicest people ever!!  Over time I would send comments to her and she would always reply back, and not just to me but to all of her fans!  Not a lot of singers/musicians on MySpace reply back every time or at all, but she did!  It was really cool because I felt like I had made a true friend on MySpace.  As more time went by I bought Carmireli's CD from her official website, which ROCKS by the way!!

Now, remember how I said something has been bugging me for a long time?  Well, the last time I ever heard anything about Carmireli was when she appeared on the cover of a magazine which was in early or the middle of 2009.  I thought I also heard she was working on new music at the time, but I could be wrong!  Anyway, she used to be on her MySpace all the time, updating her profile, adding new pictures, adding new music, adding and replying to comments, and so on, but after some point in 2009 it just stopped.  Many months had passed and one day I went on MySpace and couldn't help but wonder what she was up to because there were no new comments and updates or anything.

Now it's September 2010, and it's been a very long time since there's been any activity on her MySpace, Facebook, and official website.  What's REALLY strange is that if you go to her official website, it's turned into some kind of car/automotive website!?  It's actually too bad because if you like her music on her MySpace, there doesn't appear to be a way to purchase her CD anymore!

I guess the real reason I'm posting this blog is because I was hoping that if there are any Carmireli fans out there who read this and might possibly know what she's up to these days, maybe you could let me know by replying to this blog.  After all this time has passed by without hearing any news about Carmireli, I guess you could say I'm a little concerned/curious as to what she's up to these days and if she's okay.........?!  I know that sounds weird of me to say, but I thought it was strange because it seemed like she just disappeared!  If anyone knows anything, please feel free to reply back to this blog!  Much appreciated!!

Sincerely,
Bill

Resident Evil: Afterlife in 3D

So I just got back a while ago from the movies.  Tonight, I saw Resident Evil: Afterlife in 3D.  First of all, let me just say that I was completely BLOWN AWAY by the whole 3D experience!!!!  This was the first time I have ever seen a movie in 3D and it was AMAZING!!!!  I know 3D movies are not a new thing and I know that they have been around for years, but I've been hearing SO much about movies in 3D lately that I decided to go see my first 3D film!

Years ago, I tried watching movies on VHS with those stupid cardboard glasses with the red and blue lenses and they were HORRIBLE!!  Those glasses never did what they were supposed to do, and I felt like I was just watching a plain old movie!  For a while now, I've been hearing how the 3D technology is SO much better and more evolved.  I think I first started hearing about 3D movies again when Avatar was released, then after that I never stopped hearing about it!  It seemed like every movie after that was in 3D!

I originally had no interest in seeing a 3D movie because I thought that the glasses wouldn't work, but recently I have become interested in seeing a 3D movie because of all the great things I hear about it!  Let me tell you something........it's true!!  3D movies are THE BEST!!  It's such an AWESOME feeling sitting in your theater seat and watching all these things like bullets, shards of glass, debris from walls, swords, blood, and so on, COME FLYING RIGHT AT YOU!!!!  You actually feel like you're in the middle of all the action!!  Seeing a movie with the 3D technology that we have today, was one of the most AMAZING experiences I've ever had!!!!  I definitely recommend seeing a movie this way, it's so much fun!!

Besides 3D, the movie itself was pretty good!  It had a pretty decent story and it was worth seeing if you're a Resident Evil fan, it's worth seeing even if you've never played the games!  Milla Jovovich is a great actress and I always enjoy seeing her in the role of Alice in these movies!  Another actress I like is Ali Larter, she's great in the film as well!  The other actors were really good also except the one I was not too happy with was the actor who played the films main villain Albert Wesker, a character from the video game series.  I feel like they could've gotten someone more believable to portray the Albert Wesker character because the person they chose was plain and very cheesy!  I was disappointed by this because the Albert Wesker character is very creepy in the video game series and I was hoping he would be creepy in the movie as well, but he wasn't!

Although I do like the story they've created for the Resident Evil movie series, I was always disappointed that they never followed the games!  Don't get me wrong, I LOVED this movie and I hope they make another sequel!!  I would love to see a 5th Resident Evil movie and hopefully it won't be too long before the next one, if they decide to make another!  I DEFINITELY recommend this movie, ESPECIALLY in 3D!!  3D makes this movie even more worth seeing!!

Sincerely,
Bill

I kept the 3D glasses as a little souvenir! haha

A pic of me just being goofy.

These glasses make me look like Drew Carey!  LOL

My first blog!

So this is my first blog and I'm not used to blogging, so I have no idea how to start off!  As mentioned in my profile info, I want to use this blog to review movies.  I love movies and my dream is to be a filmmaker!  I go to the movies all the time and I use to do movie reviews on my MySpace but I just kind of stopped for some reason.  I can't wait to go back to the theater and see another movie so I can write a review on it!

There are a couple movies that are already out that I really want to see such as Dinner for Schmucks and The Other Guys.  The next big movie I am really looking forward to is Jackass 3D!!  I have been watching Jackass since 2006 when I bought the series on DVD and the movies.  I became so addicted to the show that I started watching Viva La Bam and Wildboyz.  It's been a while since the last film now so I was pretty excited when I heard they were making a 3rd movie!

As for next year, it sounds like there will be some interesting movies coming out!  The movie I'm looking forward to the most next year is Scream 4!!  I'm a huge fan of the Scream movies and I was always hoping they would make another!  I'm excited to hear that the original cast and director are back, but I just hope that this new film is as good as the ones before it and not a let down!

I promise that I will be as honest as I can when reviewing movies!  If I like something I like it, and if I don't then I don't!  I've met some interesting people over the past few years!  I've gone to the Wizard World convention in the past and met people like Noel Neill who played "Lois Lane" in the old Superman tv show.  Other people I've met have included, Ray Park who played "Darth Maul" from Star Wars Episode 1, "Toad" in X-Men, and he was in the GI Joe movie.

I've met Lou Ferrigno who is known for playing the "Incredible Hulk", Kristanna Loken who is probably best know for Terminator 3, Billy Dee Williams who is probably best known for playing "Lando" in Star Wars episodes 5 and 6, and Michael Madsen who is best known for quite a few films but the one that stands out the most is probably Kill Bill vol. 1 and 2.

Well, I think I will stop the blog here.  I will also write a regular blog from time to time as well.  Whoever stops by to read this blog, thank you for taking the time to read it!   If you want to subscribe or follow me or whatever they call it on here, please feel free to do so!

Sincerely,
Bill

P.S.  One of the pics I'm posting below of me from the convention, didn't turn out right.
